Overview

Savannah Quarters is a 2,600-acre community 12 minutes west of historic Savannah, Georgia. Savannah has long been a treasure. In 1864 during the Civil war, General William Tecumseh Sherman captured the city for the Union and spellbound by its beauty, deemed it a fitting Christmas present for President Abraham Lincoln. Thus, the city was spared from flames and its architecture was preserved. Sherman’s troops were actually housed or “quartered” on the lands comprising Savannah Quarters. This is where the name “Savannah Quarters” originated.

Today this parcel is a large master planned community containing residential, commercial and retail real estate. In October 2003, Medallist purchased the partnership interest of its development partner. This transaction positioned Medallist as the sole residential developer at Savannah Quarters. Savannah Quarters' unique community includes three residential quarters - Westbrook, Easthaven and The Village. The residential areas provide homesites, townhomes, single family and estate homes to meet the needs of a diverse community, while the commercial areas, with planned shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, offices and more, bring together the conveniences and delights reminiscent of a small town.

THE QUARTERS

One-third of Savannah Quarters will be dedicated to parkland, nature preserves, lakes and lagoons.

WESTBROOK

A 950-acre private, gated Greg Norman master planned community with a unique lifestyle with beautiful Custom Homes designed by our Preferred Builders; one- and two-story maintenance-free townhomes — Westbrook Villas and The Fairways at Savannah Quarters; and a new phase of homesites await the newest residence of Westbrook – Westbrook Lakes at Savannah Quarters. Westbrook residents enjoy first-class amenities including a swim and fitness center, tennis courts and a newly built clubhouse with three dining rooms, conference room and wine room all within a friendly, vibrant community.

EASTHAVEN

Active adult and family oriented community with single and multifamily homes. Planned amenities include neighbor-hood parks, swimming complex, playgrounds, and nature trails. Three separate neighborhoods make up Easthaven at Savannah Quarters: The Gates by Craftbuilt Homes, Hamilton Grove by Centex Homes and Berkeley Walk Townhomes.

THE VILLAGE

A planned, pedestrian friendly, live, work and play community with townhomes, apartments, shopping, dining, a bank, and office space. The Village at Savannah Quarters is being developed by Medallist Developments ensuring a quality environment in which to do business. Blue Moon Crossing, the main entrance to The Village, will take you past planned retail shops and restaurants to a “round-about” surrounded by four neo-traditional office building sites in an impressive business setting. The first of these is the completed 20,000 square foot Medallist Building featuring the Savannah Quarters Sales and Information Center and administrative offices. Also located within The Village are The Village Green townhomes by Beazer Homes, Carrington Square Apartments, Avala Apartments and the recently opened Westbrook BP convenience store and Atlantic Southern Bank.
