Savannah Quarters^® Helps Second Harvest Provide Meals to Savannah

When The Club at Savannah Quarters^® participated in Taste of Savannah, the signature event at the Savannah Food & Wine Festival, it was more than just an opportunity to share a sampling of our menu with the Savannah area. We donated a total of $2,355 from our booth’s proceeds to America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, an amazing organization dedicated to providing food and food security to those in need across the Greater Savannah Area. But what’s really amazing is the impact that the Second Harvest team can make with these funds.

For every dollar donated to Second Harvest, they can provide five meals to families and individuals. The Savannah Quarters^® team was thrilled to learn that our donation means we provided 11,775 meals to those in need.

Second Harvest’s ability to maximize donations for the greater good has helped millions of people since 1984. They utilize four distinct services: Brown Bag for the Elderly, Kids Café, Partner Market Place and the Mobile Food Pantry.
