How to fix your backswing – in 3 easy steps!

If you have been told you stand up in your back swing or that your shoulders get flat? If so here is an easy drill to work on to fix this.

STEP 1:

Find some masking tape or painters tape and place two pieces on a wall at the height of your belly button.

STEP 2:

Place a club across your shoulders with the grip end pointing towards the target. Then rotate so that the grip touches the wall

STEP 3:

With the club across your shoulders, set-up into your golfing posture. Make a backswing and get the grip of the club to touch the tape you placed on the wall.

Follow these three simple steps to help improve your posture during your backswing. This will help you improve you consistency and ball striking. Practie makes perfect!
